Stefan D singt zur Guitarre

Stefan D ist ein Cis-Mann und zwei seiner Songs sind in Cis-Moll.

Seine Stücke sind ein Omelett für die Ohren. Er zelebriert die Abkehr von falschem Pathos.

Auf der Bühne - ausgestattet mit rabenschwarzer Guitarre und schneeweißer Stimme - ist er aber nicht bloß purer Songlieferant, sondern versteht sein Programm als Gesamtkunstwerk in Form, Farbe, Kostüm und parodistischer Auseinandersetzung mit der Musikgeschichte und - nicht zuletzt - sich selbst. Bystander – Exhibition at Reflektor Neukölln, Berlin
Anita Naukkarinen’s exhibition Bystander invites the viewer to step into the layered complexities of human existence. Comprising paintings, sound, and text, the exhibition traces the later stages of life and evokes the experiential world of those living with serious illness.
The works presented in the exhibition are informed by a research project examining the role of bibliotherapy in palliative care conducted by the University of Eastern Finland and Kuopio University Hospital. Conversations with the project’s researchers, alongside texts written by patients through bibliotherapy, have guided the artistic process and laid the foundation for the works presented.
Naukkarinen approaches the subject through painting. The exhibition brings together a series of landscape-like paintings that have emerged in response to the theme. Their gestures and visual language are formed through layers, traces, and movements that unfold gently. The paintings propose spaces, without attempting to offer explanations, lingering in moments marked by a quiet sense of fragility. The inner and physical world of an individual moving toward the end of life, the lightness
and gravity of existence, the immediacy of lived reality and even a gentle humor addressed to death itself, all chart a path for the paintings.
The exhibition reflects on how the final stage of life may involve a sense of loss of dignity and human worth, as worsening symptoms increase fragility and dependence on others. In the eyes of the surrounding community, the individual may easily become merely the object of care. A sense of self diminishes, and agency is sidelined as declining functionality increasingly confines the patient, alongside medical care, to restricted spaces, ultimately often within walls and away from others. Moving at the intersection of art and research, Bystander brings together painting, music, and text. The exhibition includes compositions by Anna-Riikka Vehviläinen (Anis Kiitu), who has contributed to the bibliotherapy research project as both researcher and oncologist, bringing a perspective that intertwines artistic and scientific inquiry. The music approaches the subject in a layered form, lingering at the edges of patients’ experiential worlds, giving voice to the unspoken. The exhibition circles the theme from multiple perspectives tracing the marks of those moving toward the end of life and gently winding the thread of existence into a coil. Anita Naukkarinen (MFA) is a Helsinki-based artist and graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts, University of the Arts Helsinki. Her works have been exhibited at venues including the Sinebrychoff Art Museum, the Ateneum and Galerie Forsblom in Helsinki. The strength of Naukkarinen’s practice lies in its grounding in and engagement with the traditions of painting. Her work moves between different modes of making, from deliberate and clearly defined approaches to exploratory, intuitive, and uncertain processes. Her practice encompasses both independent and collaboratively developed artistic projects.
The artist’s work has been supported by the Alfred Kordelin Foundation.

Alltägliche Räume, verwandelt in Bühnen des Unbestimmten. Silhouetten, Schatten und Architektur lösen sich aus ihrer Funktion und werden zu Fragmenten einer Erinnerung, die sich nur teilweise zeigt.

Eine Einladung, in die Zwischenräume zu schauen — dorthin, wo Licht und Dunkelheit einander berühren und etwas entstehen lassen, das länger bleibt als der Moment selbst. Die Serie bewegt sich zwischen Beobachtung und Imagination, zwischen Dokument und Traum. Bilder, die wirken wie flüchtige Sequenzen einer Geschichte, die wir vielleicht kennen, aber nicht ganz greifen können.

In ihrem Projekt Connections + Interactions = INTERNECTIONS erforscht Sara Reichelt mit Hilfe von weggeworfenen Dingen, die sie überwiegend auf den Straßen von Berlin-Neukölln findet, digitale und analoge Beziehungen in ihren unterschiedlichen Qualitäten. Diese können dynamisch oder statisch sein, spielerisch oder erzwungen, spontan oder geplant, temporär oder dauerhaft, physisch oder virtuell.

In her project Connections + Interactions = INTERNECTIONS, Sara Reichelt explores digital and analogue relationships in their various qualities using discarded objects, which she mostly finds on the streets of Berlin-Neukölln. These relationships can be dynamic or static, playful or forced, spontaneous or planned, temporary or permanent, physical or virtual.
